Maths Tessellations
Yesterday we were learning about Tessellations. Tessellations means patterns that have no gaps. I used the cuisenaire rods and the foam shapes. I used diamonds and half of a hexagon, square, triangle and rectangles. I was with Bella-Rose and Emma. You can use squares, hexagons, pentagons, triangles, diamonds and oblongs.

Maths Reflection Art
On Thursday Room 16 made alien pictures. First we sketched it in our sketching book. Next we did it on white paper then we designed our pictures then cut them out and put them on a black paper. Mrs W took a photo and put it on the computer. After we wrote about our pictures. Here is a example, which is my picture.

Dear Greenpeace

Dear Greenpeace
I like bunnies and guess what I found? I found a bunny rolling around in my bathtub. She is white with black dots that look like flowers, so I called her Flower.
Last night I secretly gave her some of the carrots for the salad that mum got out for dinner.
On Saturday I went and looked outside and she had escaped. I felt really unhappy. In the afternoon I went to the zoo and guess what I found Flower and I gave her some of my chips.
Can you please tell me some information about bunnies?
